Join Watercolor Artist, Sharla Sevy, as she shares tips and techniques for painting white flowers that are anything but white! Participants will learn to maximize the use of the white of the paper, holding it for the brightest whites, while applying subtle temperature changes to emulate the shadows and folds within each petal to create colorful “white flowers.”

Participants should bring their watercolor palette, brushes, and 1/4 sheet of 140lb Cold Press watercolor paper, stretched and adhered to a rigid surface (board). Alternatively, a 10×14 r 12×16 Cold Press Watercolor Block can be used. Scraps of watercolor paper are helpful to practice techniques and test colors.

All levels are welcome to participate and learn in this 6 hour workshop from 9:30 AM- 3:30 PM on Saturday, September 29. Tuition for the class is $60 that includes all instruction and image. Bring lunch or a snack. A minimum of 5 students is required for this class to be held.

Stretched paper mounted onto a rigid surface (board) will be available to purchase for $9.00. You will receive $5 back when you return the board to the instructor.
