Meet our Artists
Connie Abell
Watercolor Artist
I get lost in Oregon nature; it just takes my breath away! By painting from my own photos, I am able to get into every crevice and nuance and let my memory of the time and space take over.
Steve Veltman
Position
I am a college trained illustrator (1970’s) that chose not to try to make a living with my art- Instead I used my skills for my own leisure.
I retired at 63 and now paint full time. I’m a car guy and pop culture nut so my art reflects that. Andy Warhol and Roy Lichtenstein have been very influential.
Shelly Taranoff
Position
I am a multi media artist. I started with calligraphy and moved into gouache, watercolor, oils and mixed media. I love urban sketching, nature journaling and travel journaling too.
I am retired from an Information Technology career.
Judy Stubb
Position
Judy Stubb has been painting in the wet on wet style for 35 years, and teaching the style at multiple locations for 25 years. The classes are done in a step by step easy to follow method so anyone from those who have never touched a brush before to seasoned artists can create a work of art. Judy has been a certified Bob Ross instructor for 24 years, enjoying every minute of it. All of her classes come with all supplies included so that those who are just trying it out to see if it is for them can do so without the investment in the paints and brushes. While some of her students are worrying about her retirement, she is not planning on stopping anytime soon as it is just too much fun! While most of her paintings are donated to charitable fundraisers, she has sold many and they are proudly hanging in homes around the world.
